"What You Need To Know Before You Go Pro"(tm) Free Seminar This Weekend

CAMO will host its third annual free seminar open to the public entitled “What You Need to Know Before You Go Pro” ™ this weekend on Saturday, December 15th at the San Jose Civic Auditorium at 1pm.   The first and second annual events held during the weekend of the previous finals brought together an all star group of panelists including Bas Rutten, Josh Barnett, KJ Noons, Erik Paulson and Razor Rob McCullough along with an experienced group of managers, promoters, sponsors and PR professionals.  This year is another fantastic group of speakers including world famous referee Big John McCarthy, top MMA trainer and manager from the American Kickboxing Academy Bob Cook, MMA fighters Scott Smith and Kyle Kingsbury, former Strikeforce matchmaker Rich Chou and more.  “We have found the seminar to be an extremely popular event with our amateur fighters,” explains CAMO CEO Jeremy Lappen. “It gives our athletes a chance to hear what the best in the sport think is important for them to understand in order to be successful as a professional.   It’s really an amazing opportunity for a young fighter to be able to learn directly from people of this caliber.  We really appreciate all the panelists for taking the timeout from their busy schedules to give back to the sport and help support the CAMO program.”  The seminar is open and free to the public and will be held in the same venue as that evenings California Amateur MMA State Championship Finals.  Further details are posted on the CAMO website under the event calendar (http://camo-mma.org/amateur-mma-events/E538/What-You-Need-To-Know-Before-You-Go-Pro-Seminar).
