Background
I am a retired fighter, having 9 professional MMA fights to my name. I have 20+ years of wrestling experience including NCAA Division 1 at Oregon State University. I am currently a Cesar Gracie / Jake Shields brown belt. I began training under Jake Shields in 2005, and have been training in boxing and muay thai as well for over 10 years. After retiring I turned to coaching and have cornered numerous fighters at all levels of competition, including numerous Strikeforce and UFC title fights. I am a graduate of Herb Dean's MMA Referee & Judging Course. I remain active in BJJ training and teaching weekly.
