Background
I am a career police officer, fire fighter and Emergency Medical Technician with 25 + years experience, I am a use of force instructor and a Defensive Tactics Instructor and spent 20 years on our SWAT team. I have participated in different types of martial arts training for years as a fitness tool and to develop my skills in teaching and surviving on the streets. I think my background gives me a good place to start building the knowledge and skill it takes to become an MMA referee.
