Competitive background includes a 2nd-place finish at the USA Judo Nationals (2018), a 3rd-place finish at the IBJJF American Nationals (2018), a 3rd-place finish at the ADCC North American Trials (2012), and a 2–1 record in the Pankration Elite (Amateur MMA) ruleset.
